Today a search on Google.Com revealed a brand of computers that come pre-installed with the latest Ubuntu Linux software: System76.
Today's search on Google is the first time I have heard of the company, and would still need to do online research before making a purchase. Their contact page shows they are based in Denver Colorado.
Since my goals include purchasing a 10 inch (25 cm) netbook computer with Ubuntu Linux pre-installed when this three-year old laptop expires, I plan to investigate reviews of the System76 Starling Netbook.
The first review article found is from " WorksWithU.Com ", a website dedicated to the Ubuntu flavor of Linux. It speaks glowingly of the product line, but cautions that as a privately held company its finances are not self eviden.
